Be Kind Please Rewind: July

Be Kind Please Rewind June

  1. Crazy Dash-  So this is an internet based program that has you run all over a city doing crazy things scavenger hunt style.  We obviously were in Cincinnati and had a blast dragging my cousin around as part of her high school graduation present.  After two hours in downtown, we went for pedi’s, which was an excellent choice.
  2. Opera- Another Opera!  This one was called Morning Star and was all in English.  It was based around the Triangle Factory fire in the early american industrial age which helped spur on the formation of the Unions.  Never heard about this part of history, but it was presented so well.
  3. Friend Visit-  I had a friend from my old town visit for a weekend and we had fun just being lazy together.  It was a good time and she’s another one I wish would move to the “Big City.”
  4. Concert–  So Kelly Clarkson is on tour and a friend from college has been a forever fan.  Since Kelly was coming to indy, which is middle-ish for me and my friend, we decided to go.  Her husband, also a college friend, came with and we had a great time laughing and singing along Kelly, Pentitonix, and Eric Hutchinson (me more so than them on Eric.)  We also had fun watching some meg-fans in the front.

Writing

So I have a couple anthologies I’m trying to submit too.  One is a sci-fi anthology and I got all the way to the end of the story and couldn’t figure out how to end it.

Watched

So part of the reason I don’t have many books on my read list is that I’ve been watching some tv.  (the other reason is that I haven’t settled into any books lately)
