Be Kind Please Rewind: May Review

Be Kind Please Rewind May

  1. Worked, a lot-  So this year, at church, we decided to do a celebration for our kids going into kindergarten and our kids going into 6th grade, which went over great.  But since it was the first year for them, there was a lot of from scratch work that had to happen and I mostly felt stressed and exhausted from it all.  Now that it’s June I have a little breathing room and time to think.
  2. Joshua Bell- Yeah, I didn’t know who it was either, but my sister really wanted to go, and we had free tickets.  He’s a really good violinist who was a superstar from a young age.  I actually just watched Ladies in Lavender, in which he is the musical double for a character.  I liked the first half of the concert, the second half however he was not apart of and it was terrible.  It was some kind of contemporary piece that made it sound like all the instruments on stage were dying.  I love orchestra music, but not that piece.
  3. Helped my parents-  So my mom and dad decided to build a house this year, which means they have to sell the house they’re in right now.  That also means cleaning out the basement, or at least making it look less cluttered.  So I went up on memorial day to help clean and take some of my things.  But if anyone ever wonders where I got my hording tendencies from, it’s my dad.  He would keep everything if my mom let him, if for no other reason than he doesn’t have to deal with the hassle of sorting through it all.
