L. Frank Baum: Bookish Belongings Birthdays

Bookish Belongings Birthdays

Today is L. Frank Baum’s Birthday and I thought it would be fun to celebrate with a Bookish Belongings themed to Baum’s literary contributions.  If you’re having trouble placing who Baum is, he most famously wrote the The Wizard of Oz and following books known as The Books of Wonder series.  Baum is an author that got trapped in his series by fangirls (yes they existed in his time.)  Baum was so desperate to try new stories that he closed off the world to Oz and started a Pirate series.  But his readers would have nothing to do with it, and forced him to write around the finality he gave The Books of Wonder in order to reopen the series.  Reading all his books is definitely on my Bookish Bucket List that I will possiblly try for next year.  But for now, let’s celebrate his B-Day with some Oz themed items I would love to own.  And for those that can’t buy everything, there is a Free download for Baum Quote Bookmarks at the end of the post.
