If you didn’t catch it, I’m Shannan. Whenever anyone asked my name for the first time, I always introduced myself “Shannan with an a” hoping that would clarify the unusual spelling my mom gave me. All through my baby book, she kept going back and forth between an “a” and an “o.” Personally, I’m glad she picked the “a.” I feel like I would have been a different person with an “o.”
This site is a lot like me. The same name but it’s had different versions and focuses. I think that happens to all of us. Priorities shift, and it’s not that we’re a different person, we just have different versions that come and go through the years.
But I think you can boil it all down to Finding an Abundant life. I recently started honing in on why have this blog anyway. But really I keep it because it helps me process strive for an Abundant Life. And along the way, I hope it helps others find an Abundant life too.
So I’d love to hear from you and what your abundant life would look like. Maybe you don’t know. That’s ok. We can figure it out together. Sometimes the Abundant life feels like a moving target, but the goal is that you keep moving with it and don’t get hung up on where the goal used to be.
I hope you stick around and maybe together we can find our way to the Abundant Life.

I googled images with my name and found all these ShannAns! I used to introduce myself as “Shannan with an ‘a” too! It was a joke for the longest time at a job I held. I do love stories as well, which did factor in when choosing my career! Kinda cool! Can’t wait to check out the stories on your site, I needed new material!
