Abundant Life

Searching for the Abundant Life

This is something that has recently been coming up for me. As I process life through my journal, I’m reminded that God promised us an abundant life. Who doesn’t want an abundant life? A life that is plentiful, rich, satisfying, full, and greater than could ever be dreamed? Sounds good to me.

But even though I’ve been a Christian my whole life, I don’t know that I have ever used that to describe my life. There have been moments I could have used that word. But in the past five years I think I would use the words busy, chaotic, tired, stressed, and hazy to describe my life.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my life. I love what I do and the people that are in my life. But I still walk through life tired and feeling like a failure 50% of the time. That’s not abundant. But it’s what I’m searching out. And if you’re like me, I bet you want a more abundant life. And I’m not just saying this to the Christians out there. My guess is everyone wants a richer more satisfying life instead of busy and chaotic.

So if that’s you, let’s take this journey together. Maybe you already feel like you’re living the abundant life body, mind, and soul. Awesome. But if you’re more like me, sign-up for the newsletter to get some great freebies and never miss a post, and we can work toward an abundant life together.

Is life supposed to be chaos and hurry? Or were we made for more. Something less about the chase and more about the moment. I’ve started wondering about that, and where my journey has led me.
