Tiny Tales

Help! We Need A Title!

For some reason, I enjoy stories where the characters are aware of the reader, or at least aware they are a story in a book.  This book, the characters are trying to figure out what their story is and therefore their title.  They talk to the Author and ask him for help.  It’s full of fun dialog and creative characters that kids are sure to love.

Journey (Journey Trilogy #1)

I have two books by Aaron Becker today.  Journey and Quest are both books of only pictures, but they are rich and detailed pictures that tell a story on their own.  But the story is one you can read differently and remake with every reading.  The storyteller in me loves this concept.

What Do You Do with an Idea?

This book is about the beginning of an idea.  It goes through all the ups and downs of creative ideas and how to make them a reality, but in a fun way that kids will connect with.

A Perfectly Messed Up Idea by Patrick McDonnell

A Perfectly Messed-Up Story

This book is made with all the disastrous that happen to books written into it.  Again, a character that is aware of the world outside of their book.
