Tiny Tales Reviews: Book about books

Tiny Tales Reviews

Here are three really cute books about books.  Perfect for the book lover in all of us, or good stories to convince a child how great books really are.

My Pet Book by Bob Staake

So this book is about And really, for a book lover, they kind of are.  You take them everywhere with you, you take care of them, spend time with them, tuck them away on the bookshelf, and generally love them.  It’s a really sweet book that may convince a kid to give up the dog for a book.

Fantastic Flying Book of Mr. Morris Lessmore by William Joyce Illustrated by Joe Bluhm

One thing I love about this book is the slight mobius-ness of the story, even though it’s not perfect.  I love stories that seem to end where they begin.  This story is all about the love of books, which I obviously relate too.

Violet and Victor Write the Best-Ever Bookworm Book

This is a story about siblings writing a book.  It’s been a while since I read it, so I’m a little foggy on the details, but I loved the mixed media form of art through the book, and remember laughing at times.
