Top Ten Tuesday: Characters You Wish Would Get their Own Book

This is a Meme hosted over at The Broke and the Bookish

This one was a hard list for me to come up with.  Usually I don’t think about hearing more from other characters, so I really had to think through some of my favorite books and the secondary characters I loved in them.  So here’s the list I came up with(and I did it with no spoilers):

  1. Gale from Catching Fire-  I’d love to hear his after Mockingjay story.  For those of you that haven’t read this series, it’s time to catch up.
  2. The character that can tell the how of the Hunger Games-  While not really a character in the books, I would like to hear the story of how it even got to a civil war.  What ever character from years past that could do that, I want to hear from them.
  3. Georgiana from Pride and Prejudice-  I think it would be a great book to hear Georgiana tell her story of loving and losing Wickham and then her response to his marriage and see Darcy telling her how much he loves Elizabeth. (ok some spoilers here, but really you should have read this by now…)
  4. Celeste from The Selection series- Ok, I don’t want to give anything away about this series, loved loved loved it.  And Celeste is probably the most memorable secondary character for me.  Major feels all around about her, and I think she would have a good story to tell.
  5. Howl from Howl’s Moving Castle– Howl is the quirky introverted eccentric that we get to know from observation and what he tells us.  I think he would have a good story to tell us if he got a book.
  6. Regulus Black from Harry Potter–  All we really know about him is one letter, but I’d like to know how his life led him to write that letter
  7. The White Witch from Narnia– Two stories I would like to see from her view point.  Her life before Narnia, and the story in between her getting there and taking over.
  8. Gaia’s Grandmother from the Birthmarked Trilogy– What lead her to leave her family?  The way everyone talked about her she seemed to be very spunky, and I like that in characters.
  9. Sister Husband from Where the Heart is– ant to know the story of how she became who she was.
  10. Peter Pan’s Parents–  We only ever know that Peter ran away and when he came back, his Parents had a new family.  But I want to know what the story is through the parents eyes because you know that wasn’t the truth of the matter.
