Books I Want to Reread

TOP

So this week is all about books you would reread, which is really right up my ally.  I love rereading books.  When I fall in love with a world, I don’t want to only go once, and I always realize something new, or make a new connection in the story line.  Plus, I can reread faster, so they don’t take as long, mostly because I skip the boring parts (harry potter camping in the woods for 7 months!)  So surprisingly, or maybe not so much, most of my rereads are actually series rereads.  Here they are:

The Enchanted Forest Chronicles (The Enchanted Forest Chronicles, #1-4)Harry Potter Boxset (Harry Potter, #1-7)The Looking Glass Wars (The Looking Glass Wars, #1)

1.  Enchanted Forest Series– This may be the series that made me fall in love with fantasy.  I’ve reread the series so many times I’ve lost track, and now I want to reread it again.

2.  Harry Potter Series– I’ve read the first couple books the least amount, because I started reading the series the summer movie 3 came out.  After that, I would reread a book before seeing the movie, and then finish out the series from there, so I’ve read book six and seven a lot more than the others.

3.  Looking Glass Wars–  By the time the third book came around I had completely forgotten everything about the first two books.  I feel like I need to reread them to enjoy the third book.

The Hunger Games Trilogy Boxset (The Hunger Games, #1-3)The Chronicles of Narnia (#1-7)Divergent (Divergent, #1)

4.  Hunger Games–  I need to try to read the whole series again.  I flew through this one so quick I’m sure I missed things.  By the time I got to Mockingjay I couldn’t stop.  I actually got the audiobook and listened to it at work and finished it in a day.

5.  The Chronicles of Narnia– I usually skip Prince caspian whenever I read the series.  For some reason when there are four or more books in a series, I typically don’t like the second book.  This goes for Harry Potter and Twilight.

6.  Divergent–  Really I just want to reread the first one.  I’m struggling through the third one right now (I’m about half way through)  And the only thing really keeping me from giving up are all the tweet’s I’ve read about chapter 50.  The second book was ok (see this series too)  But I really liked Divergent.

City Of Light, City Of DarkVoyage of the Basset

Howl's Moving Castle (Howl's Moving Castle, #1)Pegasus (Pegasus, #1)

7.  City of Light City of Dark–  This is the first graphic novel I ever read, and honestly, I’m only currently reading my second graphic novel.  I’m not sure why, I’ve loved both of them.  Probably adding more of this genra to my TBR list.

8.  Voyage of the Bassest-  My mom took us to see an Author reading of this book when we were kids.  My sister got a signed copy because she was taking art classes around this time and the pictures are gorgeous.  But I always loved the story line and would rant about it in college, till one of my BF’s got me my own copy for Christmas.

9.  Howl’s Moving Castle–  I remember when the movie for this movie came out and the style they released the movie in totally didn’t appeal to me, so I figured I wouldn’t like the book.  One day I was trolling Barnes and Noble under 2.99 books and Howls was for sale.  So after reading some really good reviews on it, I decided to give it a try and now it’s one of my favorites.

10.  Pegasus–  But not until I know for certain the sequel is coming out.  Oh my gosh, biggest cliffhanger with no promise of the other half ever coming out!  Seriously, please publish it Robin!
